The Infrastructure Behind the Iraqi Media Network

Recognizing this necessity, eSITE undertook the comprehensive redesign, implementation, and hosting of the IMN’s digital ecosyste, a project that represents a fundamental shift in how Iraq’s national media interacts with both local and global audiences.
The collaboration between eSITE and the Iraqi Media Network was not merely a task of digitization or the modernization of legacy code. Each of these platforms plays a specific role in the national discourse, from the rapid-response reporting of the News Agency to the long-form cultural analysis of the magazine, and each required a bespoke technical architecture to fulfill its mission.
A primary focus of this transformation was the reinforcement of the Iraqi News Agency (INA). As the official source for state announcements and high-stakes reporting, INA requires a level of stability and performance that can withstand the pressures of breaking news cycles and high-volume traffic. eSITE redesigned these platforms to ensure that information is not only accessible but delivered with the speed and clarity expected of a modern national institution. By moving away from fragmented legacy systems toward a unified, high-performance framework, the network has been better equipped to manage its extensive digital assets and archive historical records for future generations.
Beyond the interface, the security and sovereignty of national data were paramount. eSITE manages the hosting of these websites on independent infrastructure, utilizing servers located in Iraq-based data centers. This hosting strategy provides 24/7 reliability and a layer of protection against the cyber threats that frequently target high-profile government and media institutions. By housing these platforms on secure, dedicated servers, eSITE ensures that the voice of the Iraqi Media Network remains uninterrupted, preserving the integrity of the state’s communication channels.
Since its inception in 2015, eSITE has evolved from a specialized provider for internet services into a full-scale IT partner for Iraq’s most critical institutions.
